Introduction
WR Trader Academy Sdn Bhd (
‘Academy’) is a company which provides consultation services and training programs in the area of technical analysis for investment purposes. The training programs consists of physical seminars, online webinars, personal coaching and training (
‘Programs’). Each Programs are determined and scheduled by the Academy. The Programs consists of introductory sessions, product demonstrations or programs packages followed by marketing sessions for the purpose of sale of the program packages or specific products.
The Academy’s services and products are for illustrative, informational and educational purposes only. By registering into a Program, the student acknowledges that he understands the Academy’s role is to provide training programs as opposed to securities, commodities or stock trading advice. Rather, the Academy provides training based on technical analysis of markets and technical examples of how a trader might choose a trade based on the Programs by the Academy. Each and every trade example shown by the Academy is hypothetical and subject to the limitations of the hypothetical results.
These terms and conditions set out the general terms under which the Academy shall provide its services to the student and the respective duties and responsibilities of both the Academy and the student in relation to such services. Please contact the Academy for any queries.
Upon registration for a Program with the Academy, the student acknowledges and agree to abide to these terms and conditions and any other rules which the Academy may from time to time determine.
By completing registration towards any of the Academy’s Programs, the student agrees that he has read, understood and accepts the terms and conditions as set forth herein.
Our Services
The Academy provides training programs, seminars and courses in technical analysis of trading the financial markets subject to the terms and conditions. To facilitate the success of the students, the Academy provides a support system in order to help all students to successfully understand how strategy and risk management works.
Each Programs shall be determined and scheduled by the Academy for a fixed tenure at the designated venue on the date and time stipulated.
Interpretations
Any references in this terms and conditions of the following shall be interpreted as :-
- References to singular shall include the plural and vice versa;
- Reference to gender shall include all genders;
- Reference to date or time of day is a reference to Malaysian date or time; and
- Headings and sub-headings are inserted for ease of reference only and do not affect the interpretation of this terms and conditions.

The Academy and its Programs neither offers any financial or investment advice nor does it provide sales and purchase of securities and stock markets services.
Any information including articles written in blogs, contents of newsletters, courses, investment ideas and other features and tools provided by the Academy on their website, social media accounts, software, scripts or the Programs are solely for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitutes any form of solicitation, offer to buy or sell any security, commodity, future contract or option interests. The information has been compiled in good faith and from sources believed to be reliable, but is not guaranteed as to its accuracy, timeliness, or completeness. The Academy is not a portfolio manager, broker, sub-broker, dealer or registered investment advisor under the Malaysian federal securities law or securities laws of other jurisdictions and does not provide advice on investments, sale and purchase of securities or other financial products or services.
The Academy does not manage funds nor advise or direct the student to acquire, dispose of or retain any form of securities.
The Academy does not promise or guarantee any future profits when trading the financial markets. The Academy will provide the student with clear, concise trading strategies, models and methods to trade the markets. The Academy and its officials are not liable or responsible for the student’s actions or decisions made during or after our training, webinars or while referring to any of our material.
The transmission of information via the Programs or any of the materials provided to the student is not intended to create nor does it create an adviser-client relationship between the student and the Academy.
The Programs offered by the Academy are for educational and training purposes only and not an offer for sale and purchase of securities of stock markets.
The student agrees and is aware of the risks involved in all aspects of securities. Any investment program may be volatile and can involve the loss of principal. It should not be assumed that future results will be profitable or will equal past performance, real, indicated or implied.
Risk Disclosure
Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Hypothetical performance results may have many inherent limitations. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown due to sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program.
Hypothetical performance results are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. Hypothetical trading does not involve financial risks and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risks in actual trading. The ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
Schedules & Venues
All schedules, products and venues determined for the Programs are solely at the discretion the Academy. The Academy has the absolute right to decline any requests or demand for a change of schedule, product or venues of the Programs. The Academy may on its own discretion postpone any schedule, change venues and change the method of the Program.
Right of Refusal
The Academy shall have the exclusive right to refuse registration by any person towards any Program at the Academy’s discretion.
Representation & Warranties
The student warrants that all information, details and documents provided upon registration herein are true, accurate, authentic, correct and complete information as required to provide upon registration of any of the Programs.
Should the student provide incorrect, false or misleading information, the student shall automatically be withdrawn and expelled from the Program and shall not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid.
The Academy shall not be held liable or responsible for any losses or damages, of any kind, due to incorrect, false or misleading information by the student.
Confidentiality
The student agrees not to reproduce, use, block, overwrite, copy or distribute any content provided by the Academy without prior consent from the Academy.
The student shall not divulge to any persons, firm, company, organisation or any third party whatsoever at any time, any confidential information belonging to the Academy or relating to its affairs or dealings which may come to the student’s knowledge during or after the tenure of the student’s Program with the Academy. All materials provided by the Academy throughout the program are considered to be confidential.
Copyright
All materials provided by the Academy including but not limited to its course materials are owned by the Academy. None of the materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted, transmitted or retransmitted in any form or by any means, including, but not limited to, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the prior written permission of the Academy.
Any unauthorized use of any material provided via the Programs may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes.
Refund Policy.
The student hereby agrees and acknowledges that all fees payable by the student to enrol in a Program by the Academy is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason whatsoever upon expiry of twenty four (24) hours from the time of payment
or upon the student’s access towards any of the Program materials provided by the Academy (whichever earlier).
In the event the student cancels his application within twenty four (24) hours from the time of payment, the Academy may refund the fees paid subject to a service charge deduction of 10% from the refund amount.
Data Protection
The student’s registration of the Academy’s program requires sharing of the student’s personal information. The student gives his express permission for the sharing of information for the purposes of managing the student’s application, registration, enrolment, academic achievement, fees management and related activities. All information will be held and processed by the Academy in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Code of Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves, at all times, in a manner which demonstrates respect for the Academy’s employees and instructors, fellow students and members of the public. Breach of the student code of conduct may constitute gross misconduct which may lead to expulsion from the Program.
Students shall conduct themselves civilly in all online videoconferencing or chat rooms. The instructor has the absolute right, in his sole discretion, to ban such student from the Program, either temporarily or permanently in the event a student makes disparaging or inappropriate remarks about any matter or any person at any time.
Withdrawal
The student agrees not to change, defer or withdraw from the Program without prior consent from the Academy. Any failure to start the course as scheduled, without prior notification to the Academy may lead to expulsion from the Program. Where a student has withdrawn from a Program without prior consent, the Academy reserves the right to pursue the student for outstanding fees (if any).
Governing Law
This terms & conditions and any services hereinafter provided by the Academy, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia without regard to conflict of laws, rules, statutes or principles.
Costs & Expenses
Any costs and expenses incurred by the Academy in enforcing any of its rights or remedies under this terms & conditions or in any litigation or lawsuit, including collection of any outstanding balances due shall be borne paid by the student.
Waiver
Failure to exercise any right by the Academy under this terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of such right, unless expressly agreed in writing.
Severability
Each of the provisions of this terms and conditions is severable from every other provision of this terms and conditions and the invalidity or unenforceability of any one or more provisions of this terms and conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of this terms and conditions.
